MEET GEOFFREY
Geoffrey Tahuahua (tuh-wa-wa) is a native Texan and proud resident of Dripping Springs, seeking re-election to City Council Place 3 to continue bringing his extensive municipal planning experience and public policy expertise to the community. With over 10 years of experience solving problems at the local level, Geoffrey is uniquely equipped to help Dripping Springs manage growth, ensuring that roads, infrastructure, and government services run smoothly, while supporting the success of local businesses and residents.
A dedicated public policy expert, Geoffrey has been at the forefront of key infrastructure improvements including critical road expansions and our wastewater system. His efforts have ensured that the city's growth is met with practical solutions that maintain the unique charm of Dripping Springs while accommodating the needs of a rapidly expanding population.
Geoffrey’s leadership has also extended beyond the city limits. Since joining the City Council, he has been a champion for improving coordination with North Hays County Fire & Rescue (ESD #6), North Hays EMS (ESD #1), Pct. 4 Constable’s Office, Sheriff’s Office and other governmental entities to ensure seamless service delivery and safety for residents. His ability to foster strong partnerships has enhanced emergency response times and brought a greater level of collaboration to local government.
Committed to making city government more transparent and efficient, Geoffrey has streamlined processes to make government more responsive to the needs of both residents and local businesses. His work has focused on ensuring that local governance is more accessible, functional, and prepared for the future.
Geoffrey’s dedication to Dripping Springs is deeply personal. He and his wife Katie are raising their three boys in the city they love. As a father, Geoffrey is committed to building a community that will continue to thrive for future generations.
